Its formula of Czech origin, from the city of Pilsen, dates from the mid-19^th century. Its exclusive use of Pilsen-type blond malt gives this beer its golden color, typical of Czech lagers.

Originally known as October Pale Ale, this was a traditional English beer, highly fermented, normally destined for export to India at the end of the 19^th century. Its fame was revived in the U.S.A. in the 20^th century.
We use the traditional formula with Cascade American hops, which are reflected in citric flavors and Colombus hops for the typical bitter tang.
